Nichole Lee is a dedicated yoga instructor and wellness practitioner with two decades of personal practice and ten years of teaching experience. Certified through Yoga Alliance, Nichole specializes in Ashtanga, Yin, and Restorative Yoga, offering an accessible approach that honors traditional, lineage-based methods and cultivates mindfulness.
After years of working in the Los Angeles music industry, Nichole began her teaching journey by founding YogaMari Vermont (YMV) in Woodstock. In 2020, she transitioned to a new chapter, establishing Shambhala Farm Yoga on a tranquil 34-acre property outside Woodstock Village. Surrounded by nature, Shambhala Farm provides a grounding space where students can deepen their practice in harmony with the landscape’s restorative energy. In March 2025, Nichole will open her second yoga studio in Woodstock Village.
Her training includes certification under esteemed Ashtanga teachers Tim Feldmann and Kino MacGregor. She is expanding her expertise with Yin Yoga training under Paul Grilley and Restorative Yoga studies with Joanne Silver, and Keely Garfield. A Reiki practitioner, Nichole also studies Buddhist philosophy and meditation through Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche’s Joy of Living program. She founded Be Well Woodstock, a wellness website/resource highlighting local movement teachers, wellness practitioners, and holistic businesses in the Upper Valley. She is a co-founder and advisor for the Shambhala Farm Charity Fund with her partner, Matt.
Nichole and Matt live a conscious lifestyle rooted in veganism, spirituality, movement, and wellness alongside their two beloved dogs, Veda and Poppy. Guided by the belief that yoga fosters resilience, clarity, and presence, Nichole’s teaching supports each student’s journey toward physical well-being, mental balance, and inner peace.
